The Amazing Grace wind chime is our most popular tuning that carries such a wonderfully unique tone.
Our chime is tuned to the heartening tones of the most dear and resonating hymn of the last two centuries stretching into the modern day around the globe - Amazing Grace, originally composed by John Newton and William Cowper!
Newton often composed a hymn which developed the lessons and Scripture for the evening. In 1779, two hundred and eighty of these were collected and combined with sixty-eight hymns by Newton's friend and parishioner, William Cowper, and published as the Olney Hymns. The most famous of all the Olney Hymns, "Faith's Review and Expectation," grew out of David's exclamation in 1 Chronicles 17:16-17.
We know it today as "Amazing Grace." Our chimes are tuned to play the tones of the opening notes and ensure a lifetime tuning guarantee.

QUESTIONS & ANSWER
Answer:All the necessary notes are in the chimes. It's by pure chance that they may hit the notes in the right order - or an act of God. My wife believes in the latter and seems to assemble the correct order in her mind when hearing the random notes. I guess if you were musically inclined you would be able to strike the chimes manually and play the tune. This may not sound like a serious answer, but my wife thinks it is.
Answer:Only the wind can play these chimes. If there is no wind, there is no sound. I suppose you could hang them low enough that when you walk by them you could swipe them with your hand but that would remove their charm.
